Day 3

This morning we slept in until 6 and didn’t get up until 7. Markus was up at 8:30 to go and pick a friend up from the airport. He was back at 10:30 so we had breakfast while we waited.

We then headed into Liestal to buy our train tickets for tomorrow morning to the airport! We then headed to France to a town called Eguisheim which is a town built in 720AD. It is built in a circle and each house has an emblem on the door with symbols reflecting the owners career/job. We wandered the town and looked in the shops. We had lunch in the town and then headed back to Liestal.

In France the speed limit is 130, which is very fast… as most people do 130 as the minimum. We arrived back to Liestal around 3pm so we were able to pack for tomorrow and have cheese and drinks before dinner.

We fly to Rome tomorrow morning and we are still adjusting to the time so it was another early night ready for Italy!
